I had a dream that I was having problems with my breaks, it seemed like I couldn't get the car to stop and I remember the anxious feeling... i never hit anything... but it was scary.

Maybe you'd like for it to slow down to allow yourself to ponder and consider the direction you're headed. I've had a car dream where I was holding onto the roof of the car and it was going so fast. I was clinging on for dear life while it was swerving, seemingly trying to toss me off. A couple times I've had this dream where I'm on an elevated highway and the road goes up like a ramp then it's a drop-off. I end up launching across the gap and landing on the other side. Scary but exhilarating. Oh, I looked that up in a dream dictionary. Brakes not working: might suggest high anxiety or losing control of a situation or events, may indicate a fear of taking chances or initiating things in case they get "out of hand"; alternative definition: difficulty in controlling sexual desire or emotions. Any of that add up?
