locking too tight to scalp?

    this one here keeps getting tighter and standing up more everytime i wash. theres another one on the side but its not as bad yet.
    it cant be good to be so tight right by the scalp, should i try to loosen it?
    if it keeps getting tighter wont it pull the hair out of my head?

    if it starts to hurt, then you might wanna think about doin somethin...

    LOL Those don't look that close to your scalp.. if it's bothering you now, you won't like them later.

    Dreads: they get tighter as they mature

    This is seriously the dumbest thread I have ever seen

    If you're worried about your dreads getting too tight you should really reconsider growing dreads

    edit: I didn't mean to hurt your feelings thread starter

    they look fine, I have some that are much closer to my scalp an thicker and I deal.

    but now I'm wondering why your name is goldilocs...

    I once knew a guy who's dreads got so tight it pulled the skin right of his skull.
    However yours are fine... like somebody already said. If you start feeling pain and discomfort start to worry. However that rarely happens
