Levon Helm - Dirt Farmer (2007)

I'm amazed how good this album is.It's pure Americana music from the Appalachian Hills.

 

After going through throat cancer, Levon's voice is nothing like it was when he was with the Band. But, in my opinion, while it has changed it's still just as good. It works really well with the style of music he's doing now. Dirt Farmer is a beautiful album and I can hardly wait for this new release Electric Dirt.

 

Sounds like I should check it out

 

Both are great albums.
