hey everyone. i just planted some seeds a few days ago and im starting to see sprouts. im so happy. anyways im going to be growing outside. i have about 50 seedlings and i want to do 25 inground and 25 in pots. oh and the only reason im doing so manny is im not sure how many will be female. so i figured my chanses are good with 50. also i know that cannabis is a october harvest so i want to enduce the ones in the pots early so i have some to smoke wile waiting for the big harvest.

what im wondering is what should i do for soil. im have been looking around but im not sure what to do. whats a good mixture for the pots. also should i mix something up for the inground or just go natural?

    thanks.:D

for inground, you will want to fertilize during transplant, as well as every week or 2 for best results.

I prefer to use organics, and use this mixture frequently during veg:

    6 parts soil
1 part worm castings (or liquid fish emulsion)
    2 parts peat moss
    1/2 part bone meal
    1/2 part blood meal

Thats a healthy looking mix klondike. Good old loam based soil for me mixed 4 soil to one part perlite and half vermiculite.
Quick note with so many seeds if ya grow and then weed out the weaker one's in say a week or two ya male count tents to increase but ya do get healthier looking fems.

good drainage is most important. cannabis will grow in just about any soil but good drainage is always a must. i use "fox farms" for my indoor grows and use the leftover soil from that mixed with the natural desert soil for outdoors...

if you have a lot of clay or just poor drainage go to your nursery and get a bag of perlite. it'll mix in with your soil and give you excellent drainage...some use straw or other grassy material but it can mat and bring mold...
another cheap method is getting some cactus potting soil and mixing it in with your regular potting soil at 1 part cactus mix to 3 parts potting soil...

    good luck
