whats that program? if you skipped your senior year, i'm assuming you earned a ged... i'm pretty sure your lying, prove me wrong.
It's not that hard really, I had a GPA in the low 3's and got a 25 or so on my ACT test. I had no extra curriculars or community service either. AP classes look great so it's good you're taking some. I didn't take that many at all. I got into the University of Colorado haha, but I dropped out after 2 years, worked on my own for a while, realized i'm an idiot, and now i'm going to go to a community college to try and salvage a degree. Maybe try taking a year off between high school and college to experience the real world a bit. You may get a clearer understanding of what you actually want to do instead of realizing it 3/4ths of the way through some popular major you had no real interest for in the first place. btw maxwellthebeagle, I'm listening to the album in your signature right now. That's so badass.
That would be amazing to do.I definitely should look into something like that.My friend is going to London for an internship this summer and I'm so jealous. But yeah, I'm a Graphic Design major.I'm not even exactly sure what I wanna do with it but I was thinking longboard designs as an option.I mean, what ever major you decide on doesn't mean you'll end up doing exactly that.My friend was just telling me yesterday how her dad went to school to be a meteorologist and now he works for a company selling boxes and products and such.haa
I was a journalism major at Northeastern and then dropped out and traveled around the world. I learned more about life and people and myself and how to get by in that year than I have in all the time I spent in a classroom. Then I went back to UMass and it was as if I had two years of maturity on most teens my age. I got kicked out and now my whole family and friends worry about me. But i know how to roll with the flow and live on the road. I keep it simple and have few worries about money or mental constructs. i make art and chill. i blow some minds then i pick up the pieces, because thats how i dance. can you take a chance on yourself and do what nobody else is doing?
How long ago was this and do you plan on going back eventually? Also, did you get academically terminated?Sorry for all the questions:tongue:That happened to me before my last semester and it was probably one of the scariest and stressful weeks of my life.
no I graduated, got my diploma and an associates, the program was called joint admissions, when I arrived at a 4 year university I was called a "compact student" and was even allowed less credits to graduate with the same degree as those saps who went there right away and ended up spending 40 grand in the first 2 years when it cost me 10 at community. ask your advisers at your local community college about such a program it might be called something else
interesting... but yeah, its not too difficult to get into college. but when people treat it like high school they get kicked out.
Well, my step brother get drug test at his school for football, and when his is not in training he smokes cause they don’t drug test at that time but the coach found out cause his friends were running their mouths and the coach over heard in the locker room
thats exactly why im gettin my generals done at a community school, it's nice to see it works. i could go straight to the university of minnesota with my grades and ACT easy but that'd cost at least 40 grand when a community school around here will cost about 10 grand. ill just get my generals done then transfer to u of m to get my BS. im gettin a degree in finance so i can be either a stock broker(these days idk) or some kind of financial manager. as long as u get the degree, who gives a shit if u got generals done at a community school. plus i dont mind missing out on the 'dorm/college experience'
Either are we. During lifting we have casual conversations about drinking and smoking and the coach basically pretends not to hear. Its pretty sweet.
