I'm about to leave

I'm about to leave for my friends house. Lately all we do is sit there and get high.

NOTHING else, just sit there. I hate it when he calls tells me to come over when he's hanging out with his girlfriend. Yesterday we got high and then after about 45 minutes of just sitting there watching tv I said "Okay guys I've had lots of fun but I'm gonna dip now".

He says "why?".

Either he thinks that I enjoy sitting there watching tv with him or he's too scared to be alone with his girlfriend.

If he does the same shit today I'm just gonna have to say "well stop inviting me over when your with your girlfriend man, I don't call you over to my house when I'm with my girlfriend so you can just sit there by yourself".

My friend Jake (the one I call mr.stupid) was right, all my buddy wants to do is sit there in his cave (the basement) and play video games or watch tv. This is why he left out group of friends.

He doesn't wanna jam anymore, doesn't wanna go to the skatepark, doesn't wanna fuckin' drink anymore which is ridiculous, and most of all he completley ignores all of our other friends. Me and his girlfriend are the only people he see's.

Sorry for making a thread about this but I just wanna know if it's me who's in the wrong here. It feels like he's inviting me over so I'll have to suffer through a boring night.

I really needed to get all that out lol.

EDIT: Oh yeah I forgot to mention sorry about the thread title, I just realized it could sound like I'm leaving the site lol. But I'm not... Or am I?

Maybe your friend is depressed and wants to commit suicide.

That sounds really lame. Who the hell invites a friend over when you're with your girlfriend or whatever? Somethings wrong there.

dude i love you for this thread..because i have a friend exactly like this. the only ploy he has to get people to come over is were allowed to smoke weed at his house.

Yeah I had a friend who I had hung out w/ for years & we would have great times going on roadies & having bonfires, concerts, shit like that. Well starting at the end of 2 summers ago she started dating this guy who is quite possibly the epitome of lazy. After that whenever I would go over I would give a bunch of suggestions of stuff to do & if her b/f was there all they would wanna do is just sit & smoke, which is fine once & a while, but all the time it gets old. However if she was by herself she would be up for doing whatever, so obviously it was her lazy ass b/f who never wanted 2 do anything. The time that pissed me off the most is the last time we hung out b4 we both moved to opposite coasts of the country. Instead of doing fun shit like have a bonfire or go out somewhere all we did was fucking sit there, watch tv & smoke. So I feel your pain/frustration. If I were the OP I would try & come up w/ shit 2 do. If they dont agree other than just sitting on their ass just say fuck it & start hanging out w/ people who aren't as boring.

I've stopped hanging out with my best friend too much as well.
She quit smoking weed, which is fine, you know, sometimes people quit, whatever.
But all she wants to do is sit in front of a tv and stare at the screen. she moved back in with her mom, she quit her job, she is depressed, but wont accept it, and wont confront it.
If I suggest we go anywhere, my treat, she makes up some excuse or says that she's too broke to do anything or she doesnt want to or she's on her period. I swear that girl has her period like 3 times a month.
I cant stand people like that.

 

I have a friend who invites me over when he's with his girlfriend, but they're actually not exclusive anymore. They're to the point where we all talk and do things and they aren't busy making out.

But with another exclusive couple I had to hang out with, I just got naked and things got more exciting. I would suggest doing that. Seriously.

 

just say "lets fuckin do something, i'm ready to tear up the world right now." have some ideas planned for your high, and say they need to be done. don't give him options, because he's comfortable in his boring high routine and he won't initiate change.

more proof that women are evil. yeah, sucks being a 3rd wheel. a buddy of mine lives with his girlfriend, so whenever i swing by, she's always there. i dunno. just not the best chillin circumstances.

 

tell him his girlfriend gotta bring over a few honeys for you if they want you to come to chill.

Damn dude...that sucks...maybe try to bring over some of your friends too...get high as shit...and basically ingnore your friend...and chill and talk to your buddies...then go out and do something amazing...after a few times...your lame buddy will join in the fun...

or take his GF's life...nah thats a horrible idea.
