Some of you may have read my "im having a bad day" topic last week, i had a pretty shitty few days that kinda flipped my life a little bit, as i lay in bed last night past 5 am, cause i have horrible insomnia at the moment i made a decision to fix myself, and so ive decided to go on another journey so to speak, im in pretty bad shape at the moment, my right arm is pretty useless due to a bicep tear last year, and i cant jog for more than 15 minutes which is pretty terrible, plus there is this wierd thing going on with my ankles, anywhoo, in an effort to get fit (and get the six pack ive always wanted) ive decided to change my diet and start working out. Also im going to try meditating and yoga, if i can find any classes about that suit my scheule, to sort out my brain, its in a pretty bad shape at the moment. The reason im starting this topic is to help keep me motivated, also if anyone has any dietary, workout or mental health advice please do give your two cents. P.S. Ab pics later (to keep track of my process)
have you tried smoking a lot of weed and chilling out? maybe you should make some spicy bean curd, take a deep breath from behind a smokey spliff and watch the people in their cars drive fast polluting this beautiful world.
just make sure youre getting the essentials that your body needs, and dont feel bad if/when you have a fat day and all you eat is choc.. its good to splurge..
lol...i bet if you smoked a bowl at 11 you would be asleep no later that 2. It's quality medicine used for thousands of years. It's too bad so many fall trap the propaganda machine.
Agreed. The methods he used are just viable and in fact the place to start. Dietary change being #1, exercise/being active #2, followed by a good nights sleep would be the ticket to longevity. But if you can't get the sleep you won't do yourself any good. Although cutting out all caffeine (a drug) and elimination shitty foods would go a long way. Add a little excercise and if you still can't get to sleep, a supplement might help. Get on Melatonin regularly. It's the chemical naturally produced in our brain that makes us tired and fall asleep. Alternatively, high grade cannabis is fast active while the effects are short lived but effective. Melatonin can cause drowsiness the following morning. Key is education.
im cutting down on caffine, the only drug that ever gets into my body, i wanna sort myself out the old fashoned non getting baked off my ass way
lol, im gonna smoke a spliff then go for a run. in high school i would take a bong rip before every race, i ran the 400 and the 400 relay, and i'd always be coming in first. you do what works for you...sugar is also a hater if you're trying to bulk up.
it true i smoke everyday and im always asleep no later than 12. dont listen to people that say weed is bad they are just spreading the propoganda
i dont think weed is bad, i have many many friends who smoke it and my ex did aswell but, drugs are not the answer for me
ok, take in as little meat as possible and get your proteins elsewhere. get hemp oil and flaxseed oil, beans, nuts, eggs. no dairy. tons of water and no artificial anything especially sugar. read the lables! eat small meals frequently to keep your metabolism high. if you want to bulk up eat less meals in larger portions. insomnia...ugh that is your first battle too bad you wont use ganja. how bout some nice earl grey tea before bed?
first thing to do is get rid of my constant need for napping, get up earlier and go to bed earlier, at the moment im not thinking about going to sleep til 3 and then having to get up at 9 or ten so i nap in the afternoon for an hour or two which i need to stop doing. then we will see how that goes if i still need the help we will look at other things, i just stand so firmly in my belief that if you should never need drugs to sleep. there ok once or twice but if you are taking them ever 2 or 3 days its my belief you need help
well, you should never need naps passed the age of four either. a nap longer than 30 mins will ruin your body's clock. no naps! p.s. i don't need it in order to sleep, it does help make your mind stop racing though. also, i have no dreams at night which is great b/c people with severe depression(which i haven't suffered any symptoms of in a long time) wake up feeling exhausted b/c of their dreams.
jesus you whine a lot. if you want to get straight, just get off your ass and do it and quit bitchin on an internet forum about it.
