Like I said everyone has their own opinions I just happen to disagree with you.Ive made many hats also in various yarns and overall wool is asked for more because of it helps more than cotton/acrylic does.Maybe a small step but why not pick the one that will do your dreads good??? Other benefits of wool are its breathable, its warm, long lasting and comfortable. Acrylic is good for ppl after a nice cost effective hat but its not breathable as its a manmade fibre so your head gets hot. Cotton/hemp,great for summer but not so warm in the winter.Cotton also has no stetch so if you want a hat to 'grow into' this would not be suitable. Anyway care to explain what a 'real job' is? And please tell me your occupation as Id like to know what Im missing out on??
haha, cause she hasn't had a shower before... Think she would have noticed it by now if showering unraveled the progress.
you sound like you're trying to sell hats i got into the animal care business. specifically veterinarian technician/adoption counseling:cheers2: and the showering comment wasn't directed at you. i dont know if you shower or not. lotta people try different things to 'lock up' their hair like salt water sprays, braiding their hair before backcombing, wool hats, etc. and it's all futile. dreads will come. any of this exta stuff is just a waste of time (and money) since most of it doesn't help the locking process much if even at all.
I wouldn't buy a hat just because it was wool if it looked shit. I will be working in a dirty area so i will wear a hat alot and from what i read on here i heard people mention wool ones were better for the dreading process, so i just wanted to hear everyones views on it.
Trying to sell hats......actually im pointing out the pros and cons of different yarns. Some people may not know and since you brought up a list of different yarns I thought I'd give a bit of detail about each one. How is that 'trying' to sell hats??? And your definition of a 'real job' is not that far away from mine. You get up go to work, earn money, come home. Pretty much the same as me. Adam as for making a shit looking hat, I would never sell anything that I was not happy with and would not wear myself,in any type of yarn.
oh i wasn't implying that, i allready said they looked great on your website. I'm not starting my dreads yet but I will be in touch with you about a hat soon.
its ok adam i remembered what you had said previously so i just saying in general that I take care in my stuff thats all no worries
