Careful what you offer, you might be taken up on it. My parents live what appears to be about an 8 hour drive from the location so I think the ultimate would be to drive across via the Sault Ste Marie border if my memory serves me correctly. First we need to work on our passports though... what a big pain. And someone on the inside eh??? We have already said we're going to purchase the VIP tickets if we do go. A lot of great benefits for only $100 or so more. AAAAND, the festival that bcmama mentioned... the Nakusp one. We may attend that as a family this year because it's pretty close to where we live and seems like a gentle kind of festival to break the kiddos in. But if we are going to see the Cheese and the Dead, hten I'm afraid my kids need to be somewhere safe... cuz I'm a gonna let loooooooose!

I am goin to my city's One Love Reggae Fest in July Bounty Killer, Mavado, Collie Buddz, Tanya Stephen are my faves on the line up. Also, we have the "thing" festival in the Appalachian Mtns. in August that involves a 420K (a relay race that involves stopping to smoke). Can't wait!

i been on haitus for about 3 years now, but hopefully twords the end of summer ill be free to get back on it. i prefer the festivals over random shows or gatherings, as much as i love the music, as i get older i like the chilling and meeting new people more an more. so if you see me out there, make sure u gimme a ride to the next festy.
