i just took a drug test at my pain clinic and tested positive for oxy and opi. i have a script for hydrocodone and have never taken oxy anything...i know they are both opiates but why would i have tested positive for oxy and not just opiates alone? my dr didnt say anything about the test i just looked at it when i got home but im kinda scared when i go in next month that he will have something to say.
Your lucky, next time don't do oxys a week before you test. just vics like your scripted. if he see it again he will kick you to the curb with nothing I don't understand why people do stupid shit like this jepordizing getting any more treatment. Not smart at all. your lucky he didn't kick your ass to the curb. they can tell every drug you do. so don't risk it
as i said in my original post i didnt do oxy anything, so dont tell me that you dont understand why people do stupid shit like this...I DIDNT and thats my question, why would i have tested positive for oxy when i have ONLY taken what i was prescriped, which was hydrocodne????? maybe you need to read the post more carefully before you start going off on someone jackass!!!

Call you doctor tomorrow tell him this is not correct and would like to re-test if possible. You taking action right away shows that you are not scared cause you did nothing wrong, just be honest... don't get mad or anything, just state there was a error and you need it resolved.
I'd hate to say it but if the OP requests another drug test, the doctor could refuse and make up an excuse like "Well the oxycodone would be out of your system now anyway so a drug test would be unecessary"
i have read in several places that hydro breaks down into oxy-metabolite not sure if thats true or not or what that even means for that matter but have you heard that at all. didnt mean to be rude to oxy but he sounds like society out there that automatically judges people before they get all the facts...
