Was walking in the woods today and found these little guys. Can anyone help with identification please? Found them on a rotting tree and next to the tree. I live in South Centeral PA
Those arent very good pictures. And besides it's retarded to eat mushrooms you find. most will kill you. i.d.ing them would be hard without an experienced mycologist b/c there are a ton of look-alikes.
yeah eat them .. if you trip they're good... if you die you won't know the difference it's a win-win situation
should have blueing especially at the stem where it was picked. Those grow in cow shit too but don't eat them.
those look like plain old forest mushrooms to me. Ive seen them on dead logs and shit before. to my knowldge they arnt psychedelic, and will most likely cause stomach discomfort.however, thanks for posting big pics. a lot of people just say "i found a mushroom, can i eat it?"
