Global Marijuana March - Toronto

Anyone else going? It's on Saturday May 2nd (this saturday)...

It's going to be my first time, but I looked on youtube and even though it rained last year, it still looked pretty sweet.

Does anyone know if they legalize weed that day or what? I know at the Hamilton 420 Marches you could smoke in front of the police and they couldn't do anything, not sure if it was legalized or if they were just "looking the other way".

Anyways, should be fun!

I know it's the GLOBAL Marijuana March, it's in the title. I'm just wondering about the TORONTO one, whether we can smoke up during it, and who will be going to the TORONTO GMM.

I wouldnt smoke up during it, give the issue some respect, it needs to be as official as possible.. of course,do what you want though, i know smoking in CA is much more accepted in toronto than your neighbors country to the south...enjoy the march

Holy FUCK that was the craziest pot march ever. Well over 30,000 people there.

We had Marc Emery come up on stage before the march @ 2:00 and he was saying that Toronto had the largest crowd of all the 249 or so participating cities!

I didn't see ANY problems at all, even though EVERYONE was smoking copious amounts.

Something that was an issue in MY mind though is that there was a turnout to protest the genocide of 300,000 innocent people by the Sri Lankan government, and all the media was focusing on the pot march. Where the fuck is the media priority?

 

I'm so glad my country is finally getting noticed, feels good to hear Sri Lankan said by someone other than my family
