War on the working class! Why are they always the ones responsible for the failings of the financial elites. Most working class people only own one home.

You can't borrow what the bank won't loan you! And if they loaned it to you and you were a bad risk who actually made a bad decision? But who do we see guiding this economuy...those that made those loans.

I kind of liked living during the war on poverty started by Lyndon Johnson. Head Start, Legal Services, Community Action Agencies, and Vista etc. were all things I would have liked my children to sign up and serve their country doing. If I'd had any kids. As it was my nieces and nephews grew up looking for personal gain and consumer goods not the greater good of the society.

I do have two young second cousins that joined the war on the turbanned menace. Both were stationed in Afghanastan. One came home physically damaged/wounded. Both came home different. Neither one can stay in any one place longer than a week. They are both constantly on the move. Seeking stimulation through extreme and risky behavior. They don't want to talk about it. I understand that. But I am hoping that eventually they can come to terms with what they experienced.

Lol. Perhaps you won't like this then:
Last night my tired brain thought: Why does my government allow the sale of king size rizla (other brands available) paper?
Wh actually buys king size ? old age pensioners? trendy business types? housewives? NO...DRUG TAKERS. Why don't they ban king size rizla papers? Drug use would plummet over a 3-6 month period.

    (I know I'm a genius)

A new name though: The prevention of the import/export and profit from drugs

I like a war on stupidity. I work face to face with lots of different people and I deal with some real morons. In my industry, "The customer is always right" does not apply.

How about a War on Government Corruption. I grew up in Miami, lots of corruption. The place is a shithole. Money gets anything you want, because you can find a politician to buy off. Whether your project will kill a bunch of manatees, disrupt wood stork nests in the Everglades, endanger the lives of thousands with crappy construction in Hurricane Alley, let some private enterprise build some atrocity in a city park, or bleach the only coral reef in the continental United States, if you have money, you can get your project approved. We will always have corruption in government and politicians will always lie. We are letting power slip away, and we need to take the power back from government before things get really scary. I can't think of anything scarier than an out of control government.
