Who's been to a fest this year? I just can't wait. Going to Music camp fest in spartanburg S.C. mid june. Moving this weekend . So can't do much for a few weeks. Could use a good fest story to tye me over till then. It's like cabin fever. I remember the dead playing in vt. in I think '94-'95. Thousands @thousands had every rd.@ highway held up. It was insane. It was in alittle town .Highgate Vt. was were the show was.That was the last show I say. The dead played every aug. at the Umass(Amherst) stadium. I was lucky to live right near by. Never thought at the time it would end. The fests are a lot of fun now , but just not the same as the 70s-95. I can be walking around late night at a fest and swaer I never left one of the old shows I guess. Something just seems to be missing. I wish all the young people here could have seen just one of the dead shows , you'd know what I mean. Enjoy each festival like it was your last. The way the po po are now dayz ,I'm amazed we still have shows to go to.
