How Was The Ocala Like This Year?

I'm curious to know how the Ocala Gathering went this year, and has anyone seen Charles Swiden. He was there last year, but we found out from Iceberg, he went to the hospital because of a condition with his hand. And he has been missing, so far as we know, no one knows where he is. Well hope you all had a good gathering, coudn't make it myself, but maybe I can get to New Mexico for the National, don't know yet, anyway, Love ya all. Ocala was very drunk.... I was there for seed camp until a little after valentines day and the whole time everybody was getting wasted. people were walking around with buskets getting money from people for the next keg it was pretty ridiculous. There were lots of fights, a dude almost got beat to death one night. The cops weren't too bad they were giving people tickets for parking in the wrong spots and trying to take peoples dogs, but besides that I had no problem with them. rainbow land was nice but there was lots of booze being taken out there and it was a pretty far walk. the sugar sand was rough there had to be at least 10 vehicles getting stuck daily and it was a pain to walk through. it was very schwilly to say the least but i still had a good time for the most part.

it was fun as hell i thought went there on like the 14th or 15th stayed for like 9 days it was damn good most of the time it was kinda pretty cold there a cpl nights but oh well what r ya gonna do man i miss them damn pancakes already "PANCAKES IN THE WOODS!!!!!!!!!!" mmmm it was my first regional and like my 3rd gathering all together and it was the sand did blow to walk thur and i did alot of walking in it lovin ya all

 

I was wondering if you actually saw the guy get beat up. I'm looking for my friend and I hope it's not him. Do you know what he looked like?

 

no all i know is that he hitch hiked from ga with some kids and he was feeling up their baby in the back seat so everybody got a beating in on him when they arrived the cops came afterwards and grabbed his bag and the rest of the night helicopters were flying over and shining a spotlight on everything. we never heard anything about him after that.

 

I'm glad to hear it was fun for you all, It sounds like not too many problems, and now I'm really home sick, I remeber Granola Funk kitchen and the stage and the tree houses, and all those fresh oranges around. As for the alchohol, oh well. Thanks for the feedback. Love Linda

I missed Ocala, too, this year, unfortunately. I did have the chance to see it in '08 and besides a lot of violence and people getting beat the fuck up it was a great turn out and lots of fun. I've been looking around trying to find some info on it and see how it went. Who all showed up this year? Does anyone have any pictures?

I had a great time in ocala... no one got stabbed, no major LEO drama, no forest fires... lots of food and friends and great music.

the kid who got beat up was wasted at front gate, he fell over this kid a few times, front gate kept trying to get him to go to sleep and he didnt, he kept bumping into a child by the fire... he got beat pretty bad, but he stayed for cleanup and I rode out with him, he's fine...

no one got stabbed correct, but i did just barely dodge an ax that was swung at my head at front gate. other than that it was an awesome first gathering.

after the gathering in my travels is when I fell into hell

 

had a great time at ocala ...tryed going to next spot with brother ray and somehow lost him...ended up at this place called hippie hill and they pirted my wife the ransome was 5 sheets didnt pay the ransome and she found her way home true love is like that
