Question about Methadone / Oxycontin tolerance?

I was wondering if Oxycodone and Methadone are the same in that they share tolerance levels? I know they're both synthetic opiates, but are they different enough that they both have different sets of tolerance levels? i.e. If I do 20MG OC a day for a week and then take the 15mg or so, of Methadone it takes to get me feeling really good when i take it occasionally, one day, will it feel the same?

as long as u take the methadone after you have stopped taking the oc's I dont see why the done wouldnt have the normal effect. Wasnt really sure about the ques. though.

I was also wondering how much effect eating about an hour and a half before taking methadone or any naroctic for that matter, has on its' potency level? I usually make sure to have a pretty empty stomache before taking them, as to not take away from the potency of the drug -- does it really matter THAT much? As long as you're not stuffed?

not sure about methadone, but ive read eating a fatty meal before taking oxy will increase its potency.. check it out on google

Eating a fatty meal before taking OxyMORPHONE will and can increase the potency, but not Oxycodone.

 

My opinion on this is Methadome is a hell of a drug. Ive been taking methadome since i have been 15 but yea you can grow a tolerance to it. it only use to take me 3 methadone tens to get rocked till the next day. But eventually it went up at one point i was so bad that litterally went up to 13 methadone. As far as oxy goes it is so easy to grow a tolerance to which sucks! Its my favorite of all drugs but the tolerance thing sucks man. It really works well with my pain i have 3 bulging disc and a kidney infection which keeps me in constant pain, so for all you douche fucks out there that dont have ne thing wrong with you and are making it harder for us ppl with med probs fuck you serioulsy go do something with your life i hate you. but methadone is a good drug for pain if you can stomache it. I prefer that for long term over oc. OC is a great high but methadone is off the charts and will fuck u up on a whole nother level.

 

It does the same for Oxycodone to. been doing it for years. try it you will like it..

 

I've been on 150mg for 5yrs now. I don't feel it at all. It's the normal day for me. It does work good for pain. Broke my back in 2000. Started on oc's. Got my money from law suit and figuered heroin was my favorite pal. Anyway, on the methodone clinic. I could shot a few bags and not even feel it. Though it would probally kill me before I felt high.Alot of pain centers use methodone now. they used to use oc's before they found how addictive they were. Methodone saved my life

 

i LOVE methadone. methadone and oc are on the top of my list, but methadone takes the cake. i feel soooo incredibly high on methadone, ive done it many many many times.. liquid form. always 30-90mgs at a time. keeps me high all day, i sleep like a baby at night, and sometimes even wake up with a buzz, depending on how much i did the previous day. Railing oc while at your peak on methadone is the greatest high ive ever experienced.. i recommend everyone try it, unless u havent done opies before.. very very very strong combo

 

How intense is methadone?

 

personally, if i drank 40ml of methadone rather than railing 40mg of oxy, the methadone would be waaaaaaaaaaay more intense. I almost wouldnt be able to keep myself awake probably, whereas with the 40mg of oxy I would just be put into a happy place.
