okay so i'm planning on moving between june 15th and july 1st, but don't know where to start to make an ad that'll get the results i want.

help me!

 

well, what results do you want?

are you trying to sublet your current home? looking for a roomie? looking for someone to move your furniture for you for cheap?

 

Copy someting from craigslist. ?

 

just a room to live. i don't need help moving. i don't have to worry about who will live here once i'm gone either.

i thought i had a room lined up BUT after they added me to myspace and seen me... they stopped emailing me..

 

yes i plan to use craigslist... but but.. i can't just 'copy' something else... i'm not like everyone else...

i'm vegan
i'm on probation
i'm eccentric
i have three kids, but they don't live with me
i'd love to get myself a dog
i don't have a car, i'm a bicyclist

 

i wouldn't mention the probation or eccentricity in the ad. the others are fine for the ad, although i'm not sure how essential any of them really are either, except maybe the kids. if you're just renting a room, your eating habits and means of transportation shouldn't really matter. and you can probably discuss the possibility of a dog once you are already in touch with the potential landlord.

i don't know though, whenever i've moved i did a combination of checking apartment listings online, and driving around seeing what i stumbled across.

i did an ad awhile back.. and didn't mention really anything.. had people turn me down after i told them.. or just plain ignore me.
i just kinda wanna put it all out there so i'm not suck somewhere i'm not happy and they're not happy with me being there.

so do you have to live with someone? seems like you might be better off getting yourself your own one-bedroom apartment, or maybe even a studio if money is really an issue.

 

i'm not going to be able to live on my own.. cheapest studio i can find is 900 dollars!

i can rent a room for around 500 dollars.. and i prefer not to live alone.

i have three kids who do not live with me, however i will need to live in vacaville because i am a bicycle person and it's too far to travel to and from fairfield daily by bike.
i don't have any animals, but i don't mind if you do. i really want a dog, but have no plans of getting one anytime soon.
i'm on probation, so i need to be living in a clean and sober enviroment. i do not smoke, use drugs or drink alcohol.

Maybe adding that you're female and your age would help, because people would see that since you are indeed not fresh out of high school, you'd probably be a lot more responsible.

Yep. I mean, I'd consider taking you in, if I were single and living alone, because honestly, I wouldn't be smoking or drinking or any of that more than likely if I was alone, lol.
