I think they are. I'm not sure if anything has really locked up much. I try to keep from rustling around in my hair. A lot of the sections are really tight underneath, but I'm not certain if they are actually starting to lock up yet - don't really want to pry through there and mess something up :p

    I know seriously.

No, really. You weren't bad at all. The other day when I was high, my friend Ashley secretly attacked me with a brush. She got a little bit, but not much. I flipped on her.

oh man I used to get pissed when people touched my dreads... Now I pretend to go at them with a comb for a comic effect.

lol funny- no one ever touches my locks...I think all my friends and family are hoping that if they just ignore the fact that I have them, they will go away

I wash about once a week using Rosemary tea. If my head is itchy or sweaty, I'll wash then too, but that's only happened once. I think I'm going to start waiting it out and just rinsing my hair unless it gets oily, itchy or something. I'm still trying to figure out what works best. I started with baking soda, but my scalp was getting extremely dry and flakey, so I switched to the Rosemary and it seems to keep the flakes down a bit.

I hope to update this thing Monday. I'd do it now, but I'm sick as hell, and we all know I already look sickly in my photos when I'm not ill.

I know. It's about time that I post some progress on here. I just haven't been able to get around to it, so I took some pictures of my nappy ass head about 20 minutes ago with my cell. It's been about 2 months since I've brushed. I don't really have any that look too much like dreads, but I can feel them in there in different areas. The back, around my neck, particularly has a lot of nice knots and sections in it and at my part I can feel the sections. Here's how it goes as far as yet:

I do have a better camera but was too lazy to pull it out. I might try to get some this weekend.

It has gotten a lot more poofy. That's the only thing I really don't like about it all, but it doesn't bother me enough to do something about it.

There is some nice clumping coming along. It's really hard to see in pictures, but I can feel a lot of them. It's taking longer than I expecting, but I did expect to not know what to expect. I'm content with the way things are going. Most of the time I forget I even have hair except for when in the shower. It's kind of like those info-mercials -- just set it and forget it! lol

A lot of thee curly chucks are nice and tight, but aren't matting up or anything. I can't wait to see the chucks to actually start matting or felting or whatnot. I've started to think I might have really curly dreads, which would be pretty cool. lol
