Molly Hatchet is playing in the park downtown for free tonight.

They played for free at the Savannah, Georgia waterfront last fall, and it was a total blast. We live near Jacksonville where Molly H. is from, and we ended up meeting Steve Holland, one of the original members. He used to hang out in this bar on St. Simons Island that we frequented before he had to go into the hospital for liver failure. He expected it, telling us he lived loud and hard. Cool guy.

Go, enjoy! They still can throw down Southern Rock like no others still alive.
