    Thanx for the revisit. I vaguely remember it. Was there in 1970.

    Actually I lived on the edge of the Fillmore District on Howard Street but we walked there often.

    I went there recently, it was amazing. I was a bit afraid to take pictures of people though, I didn't think they would like it haha.

    Great pics Olhippie! I was there Apr. 30-May 2 '07...was my 1st time & was I stoked! If I may, here's my pics from that visit...the 1st 2 were coming in over the Oakland Bay Bridge I believe. I was trying to catch the Golden Gate in the 1st one...Next is me under the Haight Ashbury sign & the last one's on "hippie hill" in Golden Gate Park.

    I ended up in Haight Ashbury one day by accident. I was on the bus and the driver said "Haight" and I started going nuts... I started rambling about how important and beautiful this place was to all my friends, they had no idea. Everyone on the bus just kinda stared at me and looked away. I got off and walked off for a while and was just WOW'D to say the least
