Most over rated day of the year.

Most stoners I have seen are some of the most aggressive people. I bet it was a stoner.

From what I have seen, drunkards are slightly less aggressive than stoners, though both are still pretty aggressive.

Booze of course physically, but stoners more mentally and emotionally, with enlarged egos to boot, but sometimes even physically too.

There are always a few idiots at big concerts who ruin it other more chill folks.

my time on earth has shown me just the opposite and I got you more than doubled on that

it's not the stoners who start fights.. it's the people who have had too much to drink

I'm pretty sure you'll find a lot of people will disagree with you. I find Stoners are generally only aggressive when they can't get weed, which is most often at home, or at work and not in social situations. Even then, they are slightly agitable and rarely violent. Booze is far worse in my opinion. I'm not saying you're wrong, but you're the first person I've met who thinks otherwise.

That is the stereotype, but after two universities over the course of five years and multiple experiences in some of the worlds biggest cities, stoners can be surprisingly aggressive. I have come across a lot in university and many concerts.

I am down for awareness week or something, because stoners aren't always the "chill" people they are made out to be. This can be said especially mentally and emotionally. Stoners are also some of the most arrogant people and selecitive people I have ever come across.

I never did say drunks ARE NOT aggressive, they totally are. I just said stoners are closer to drunks than people realize.

But I wouldn't be so quick to jump to the conclusion that the guy was drunk. Maybe he was, but he might have been stoned too. Or, more likely than anything, both.

As an ex professional stoner i have to say that aggression was far removed from my general mood as with most of my old stoner friends.

There is almost definitely some truth to that, I have lived with a lot of stoners and they certainly do have an aggressive, disagreeable side to their personality, but I am still yet to meet an average, every day stoner who is as likely to be nearly as violent as your average, every day drunk. I live in the weed capital of Australia, and in my social circle, I'm a minority as a non-smoker.

Are you sure you're not mistaking groups of people who are culturally violent anyway (gangsters etc.) who happen to smoke weed and probably drink and snort coke as well...for everyday, suburban stoners?

A fight can happen anywhere if someone gets pissed off. I don't think Neil Young could prevend that ;)

Yeah, stoners can be very anti-social but I think it's pretty obvious that the alcohol-intoxicated are more eager to get physical aggressive.

Wow that's terrible. When I saw him a few months ago, there were these douche bag guido frat boy scene kids behind me, and they kept fucking yelling "WHOOOOOOO" and "NEEEEILLLL YOUUNNNGGG" and "III LLLLOOOVVVEEEE YYYOOOUUUU" so fucking loud that several rows could not HEAR neil young.

    They were drunk of course.

QFE. Almost punched a random person at Live 8 during Neil's first song. Who the hell plays a 20bpm song at the climax of a rock show?
