    or Frisbee golf aka Hippie Golf...

    Anyone here play?

    There is a small 9 hole course across from my apartments. The weather is perfect so I'm going to throw a few rounds after work.

    Frisbee Golf is love, there are so many Frisbee Golf courses in Houston you'd think it would be a televised sport. Today is gorgeous, sounds like a good time Dreamer.

    many bonkers, you are very lucky to have so many golf course options.

    where i live, where the red neck population is very dense and exponentially growing, there is no disc golf.

    rather, horse shoe pits. per capita, my area is the capital of horse shoe pits. like 20 pits per square mile.

    sources;
    i looked on goggle earth to confirm this.

    Hey Bonkai... You ever play at Tom Bass Park? Those courses are huge but beautiful! I think I walked ten miles by the time we got to hole 18.

    We have two 9 hole courses here, which is good considering not too many people around here play. Everyone thinks they are randomly placed trash receptacles.

    Yes Dreamer, but only once. When I was Air Force ROTC we went out there for some Frisbee fun. Def the biggest place I have ever play at.

    Ramble, didn't know FL was considered a "redneck" area, i believe you though.

    Well AFROTC not officially in the AF yet but I will be in the summer of 2010, as a little butter bar. Hopefully when I get in I can bring my violin with me, but I doubt too many people play a classical string instrument in the military.

    Love my unit
