how can people be so.... cruel?

i dont understand this at all, you can know someone for years and years and then all of a sudden WHAM they are a complete jerk to you. I have to ask why, did i do something or is something seriously wrong with them....

Same thing has happened to me recently and I'm still trying to figure it out...

In this case there is something wrong with the other person, because they have treated other friends just as shitty as me. Sad, really, because I no longer choose to continue a friendship that was started way back in kindergarten.

 

i hate when stuff like this happens, especially if it is someone who is a big part or your life!​

recently a good friend of mine ive known since 11th grade quit calling me and never returned 4 of my dvds, come to find out the reason is.......she is married but is trying to hook up with my best friend and is afraid i will find out.... as if she thought my best friend woldnt tell me about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!​

I hate it tooo when someone you known for a long time trys to turn you against your other friend.That has happened to me so many times its not even funny. all i did was ignore everything she said until she got sick of lying. I hate how people are so selfish and cruel at the same time. GRRRRRRRRRRR

 

ohhhh and thats the story of my life....

i am soo very sorry robin, these things are always so hard to deal with, especially if it was someone you were close to. all i can say is i hope things get better soon.

 

It's always been my philosophy that somebody who can turn their back on a friend doesn't deserve to live. I've had some of the closest people in my life do some of the most damage to my life. It's hard to comprehend, but I've just used it to learn to pick my friends more wisely. You just have to remember that some people are ignorant like that, and will not go far in life.

 

I agree. This is partly why I enjoy being with my own company and when I find a genuine friend yippy skippy but if not oh well.
