I think bush will win. I hope the greens or some other guy wins.
Anyway, if Bush wins again, I'll be sorry for the world and the dumbass americans that voted for him cuz they are like Plato's cavemen dazzled by the day light

ummm... the dude who was dazzled by the daylight was socrates, who by all acounts was a rather observant man... i think you mean the people who only see the shadows... anyways

If Bush wins the vote, i think the city of Vancouver (sp?) Canada will become the most populous in the world.

Vancouver is exactly where I wanted to move in 2000. I think I will build a bunker and stuff it full of food and clean water and prepare for the end.

I'll be hiding in the woods with a water filter and a shotgun. If Bush wins war is sure to come to America...he's been dragging us into it all along.

Well prepare for your exodus, because i don't think Kerry has a chance. 40% of registered voters call themselves born again christians. They vote for Bush because of 2 issues abortion( which does not really matter because he not going to make it illegal), and gay unions. It does not matter how many children die in Iraq, or the poverty we create in iraqs streets and our own. Health care the economy etc. Unfortunatly these people are very narrow minded and view life through a tunnel. They give true christians a bad name. Also most people are worried about a terrorist attack more then any other issue. They will vote Bush out of fear. Honestly its sad we in north america have fallen so far, that i don't know if we have the capacity to stand up again.

I think if Bush wins, I'll have more money in my pocket. I won't have to see the taxes rise.

I'd go for the Cbin I posted about in the "Environment" forum. at least a mile from ANY road, in the DEEP woods, and I'd cancel my voter registration.

do your homework!! there's no 'dude' who was dazzled by daylight, sheesh.... Plato had a theory about a world of ideas that are reflected in our world... we are all bound and we cannot move and can only see the shadows of the perfect world, which we think is our world... if somehow we could get out of our shackles and get into the daylight we would be dazzled, yes....

There's no real evidence of Socrates having any real theories, although he did found the thought of another world outside this one... you see, Plato wrote down Socrates' Dialogues, but he probably added his own theories to it, pretending that socrates had said them... it's all very complicated. Socrates is considered to be the most important man in the history of philosophy though... (for a fan of nietzsche I have to know my enemies :))

This has nothing to do with Bush or Kerry, however...

I have no idea what I would do... I'm not American, but I would feel very, very sad about the most powerful country in the world having such an idiot for president...

Maybe you should listen to more Pink Floyd and less Bush Shit. Have a listen to "Pigs" by Floyd, that'll tell you exactly what's wrong with that way of living....

Pigs is about the type of people who try to push their beliefs onto other people, if anything I'd say the liberals who can't accept the fact that Bush can honestly win this election or the ones that keep saying you need to be a moron to vote for Bush is a better example.

It's so amazing how the U.S. is the land of the free, yet most of the Kerry supporters are more like dictators...

Huh? I must have missed something. Liberals = Dictators? I fail to see any connection there.

Dictator (dictionary): a leader who has complete power in a country and has not been elected by the people. (Bush?)

I guess it depends. Is it a crime to apporove spending that far exceeds the taxable income of the country and then refuse to pay for your decision?
