    I would suggest getting the hang of staying in control and relaxed on pot before you try mescaline. You just need to smoke in an environment where you feel safe and can relax with people you trust. Avoid smoking in situations where you already feel negative until you get the hang dismissing negative thoughts while you're stoned.

    yeah, I strongly advise *AGAINST*doing mescaline in the midst of a phase like this...

    lay off the weed for awhile, take it easy on the caffeine and see if it's still happening...

    go from there

    edit: lol i can't believe i said i strongly advise doing it:eek::rolleyes::sifone:

    seriously! sometimes you just gotta take a break and clear your head, it's quite simple really...

    stop pressuring yourself to be comfortable smoking, if you're uncomfortable it's for a reason and you need to look at yourself- not the weed, its just intensifying already existing feelings/fears/anxieties...

    i suffer from really bad anxiety attacks, i'm actually on medication for them. and when i first started smoking, the paranoya and anxiety was unbearable, the biggest thing is really talking yourself through it. i know what a horrible feeling it is, so i know i can relate to you.

    two hits doesn't sound like a lot to get you that messed up though, are you sure it wasn't laced?

    There are some insanely strong strands of pot out there that floor you (literally) after one hit, so two nice hits isn't really something to balk at.

    Paranoia is not related to marijuana, it is related to the person. I went through much of my teen life paranoid and was not surprised to see it increase after smoking heavily. I was lucky to grow up and out of it after several destructive episodes of depression and paranoia.

    I would suggest you seriously monitor your diet. See if certain foods make you feel more high-strung than others and lay off of the coffee for a while. Coffee can really throw your mood off especially if you get hooked on it and then stop drinking. Watch your salt intake and watch your sugar intake separately. See if there is a link between your negative mood and how much/little sugar or salt you take in.

    Don't listen to any doctors about taking medication until you have done this - they will throw depression medicine at you and nerve pills and they will keep pushing them no matter how many times it doesn't work.

    Learn to relax, dear. Take time out for yourself and take deep breaths when you're trying to think clearly. You need to learn to meditate and teach yourself to be calm. If you're a big planner you need to take a day and not plan a single thing for that day, not one damn thing.

    When you feel that ache of anxiety flow away then and only then should you smoke a little pot to see where it takes you.

    Mescaline? I don't know anything about it short of that it's a hallucinogen and anxiety and a high heart-rate are the last thing you need combined with that.

    Good luck.
