I've looked around, checked Google, post, etc.. but I can't find any fest in Colorado until late June. I was hoping to find something sooner. Any suggestions?

depends on what kind of fest you seek.
Ski towns pull off winter fest (snow works there, not so much for camping fests)
Mostly fests wait until the chance of snow is less than 10 percent.
Lots of single day things as well.

these are fun, if in the summer:

Well, there is the Dreamtime festival which is a huge hippie gathering where bands play, there are a lot of stations for a million different things, and where everyone is amazing...:D But that isn't until the middle of July and it's $80.00 a ticket.

Dreamtime looks amazing, as does Desert Rocks.
I think I will try to go to both of those.
