who here bumps music?

now when i say bump im talkin about a sub in your car. don't matter what as long as you someone bumpin down the highway, freeway, or country road?

just got a 12"sub for my car. its a kenwood that puts 1200 max power.
my amp is 1000 max power, enough to have another sub.
the sub and amp makes a beast.

can't want to get everything setup up. new speakers is next.

anyone here make two or three blocks of houses wonder what that sound is? day or night.

good quality sound always.

 

Thats sick, my boy has a kenwood amp, and two kicker 15's. 6 Tweeters. And an auditorium speaker. It fucking quakes.

 

I don't, but that's just because my license is suspended. lol I prefer high treble over high bass though, because I listen to a lot of underground music and I want people in other cars who have never heard it before to be able to hear the words, because I listen to some songs with some fukt up and twisted lyrics. haha

 

I don't really have the money or the right size car to have that shit. But if I had those two things I certainly would.

i am not a fan of listening to music that loud. i am also not a fan of most other peoples' taste in music, so therefore i am not a fan of being forced to listen to someone else's poor taste in music, with a quality that leaves you wondering what the hell kind of 'music' it was. ranks up there with people trying to force me to convert to christianity. or standing on corners forcing me to look at posters of bloody fetuses. I just don't think its nice to force your (self, opinions, beliefs, tastes) on others. its like rape, not as extreme, but its still the same category.

 

haha last night I had a dream that I made a thread in the stoners lounge called "Stoner Sound Systems" for people to post pics and details of their home systems.

Dont have a car yet but when I do there will be two 10 inch subs going in there. Max output 600 watt each but top quality subs. not sure if i'll bother with mids and might just get four 3 way dual woofer speakers and then two 4cm horns. I can get it all for cheap and its all seriously good quality sound. Wont have a car till the end of summer though so plans are likely to change.
Id mostly be listening to jungle, drum and bass or bassy chillout like Zero 7 or Take 5 so plenty of bass is a must.

rather listen to music in my home theatre then in a car with subs, generally cars with even quality speakers/subs still have vibrations and rattling which sounds like garbage and completely destroys the clarity

I don't have subs but I have 5 1/4 type Rs in the back, 6.5 type S in the front powered by a Pioneer 22 / 4channel deck.

Hit's hard for four speakers.

 

got a 12" Shiva-x in the trunk powered by a JL 500/1. The sub is a pretty underground brand (exodus audio) but its a top pick by the audio junkies. some of the cleanest bass. and since its for DIY home shit, they're cheap and can match up to JL W7's. then some component kappas powered by a jl 300/4

yes. i love to bump in my car. im not a speaker geek so im not so sure what i got (came with the car) but i recognize brands like pioneer and alpine in my car. and besides it sounds great. and i dont even get any rattling unless its way too loud. weather its techno, rap, or rock. man its loud. but i dont do it to share with passersby. i just like my music loud

 

if I had a car I probably would occasionally.

not like, all the time, but if a few friends were in the car, and we were going on a bluntride or something, yeah, I'd probably bump music.
