Not the human kind! Here's a topic I'm curious about. Why is it that despite all the progress made in the modern world, women are so reluctant to deal with insects and spiders, or bigger things like mice? I'm male, and my partner sometimes gets into a state over a spider or a thousand-legs in the house (thousand-leggers are officially "house centipedes"). It's always my responsibility to deal with these things! And I just say, "Wait a few minutes and it'll wander away". But that's not good enough--"But then where's it going to turn up next?" So I say, "OK then, kill it if you're feeling cruel, or scoop it up and tip it outside." But no, she won't go near the thing. And once, a previous partner found a mouse in the house, which ran into the bathroom, and when I came home, she'd taped the door closed. And guess what, when I opened the door there wasn't a mouse to be seen anywhere! It just seems like a retreat into helplessness. Maybe compared with a tendency to commit mass murder it's nothing much, but this does seem to be a female characteristic.
LOL if I see a spider or bug in my house I am the same way,and everyone comes a runnin.Hell the neighbors probably here me.My hubby throws them outside.
I'm like that about most insects without a doubt. *shudders* Mice, not so much. Furry little animals don't bother me. I don't even think a rat would. Course, I say that now.
dono if you want male input, but im a guy, and i have EXTREEEEM arachnophobia, most bugs dont bother me inless they look like a spider or are a spider.
