Well, that was short and sweet. The Tattooing of Minors Act 1969 makes it illegal for anyone to tattoo you if you are under the age of 18 - although the offence is with the person who carries out the procedure, rather than the person who asks for the tattoo. New guidelines suggest that a tattoo artist should ask to see proof of age and record this before agreeing to tattoo you.
I did mean the thread not the post...but thanks for making it easy to understand. Strangely, there isn't the same law for piercings.
Talking of that, I watched it today and almost fell out of my chair wiith laughter. God, I love that programme. Sigh.
I watched it too!! It's totally my daily routine now that I'm housebound with a funkload of essays and revision. What made you laugh so hard?
Erm, Kirk in the diner telling every one he had a girlfriend and Lorelai fluttering her eyelids at him. There were a few other lines, but I can't remember as I was a little stoned at the time. Thought to self: Perhaps that had something to do with my laughing...mmmm.
