thank u. my ends are not dreaded much. the reason is i started out with wax, and when i got the wax out my ends where nowhere close to dreaded, and i just left them that way
even tough im not a regular poster on these forums, i still like to keep my timeline here, so here it goes again. my locks are now about 1 and a half years old. still not doing much to mentain, but because of them started to congo a lot i have to rip some. but i dont bother to do it much, so i still get congoes. so here it goes again, some new pictures: this first one is a few months old, from the start of the summer. afterparty after the bars closed with some friends. love that headband, but somehow i lost it during the summer =( have to find a new one completely new pic, just a week old. doesnt get much better then this. bbq by the old fortress in my city, sun is shining, and life is wonderfull another new picture. this time its an attempted kidnapping that ended in us bouth falling on the ground breaking out in laughter. weird picture, but at least you get a good look at my hair =P party at my place, tough in this picture we are in my roommates room. just drinking some beers and having a blast while waiting for a concert
beer again. funny how most of the pictures my friends take is when we are drinking beer. i guess thats just the way it is
post 1/2 another pic heavy post. im at about 2 years now. just tryed a baking soda, applie cider vinegar, lemon solution for cleaning (didnt have tea tree oil) for the first time, then had a shower. this is about 1-2 hours later, so still wet, and extra frizzy =P im now starting to claim to have mature locks. oh, yeah, might be worth to mention. only camera avaliable was an integrated laptop cam. just imagine the troubles i had shoting photos holding my laptop behind my head!!!!! should have had someone taking a photo of that! this was the hardest photo to take, so excuse me for it beeing a bit blury =P holding laptop in 1 hand behind my head =P and somehow my t-shirt made a fold closely resmbling a non existing boob. yes, i am a guy this one is just a straight forward pic. you see the front one taking a few turns on the way down. it always does that i mentioned last time that i was starting to get a few congos. this on was once 5 babies. gibing up seperating, i instead imbraced it with what was once a thumb ring. my fatest one. u see it is squeezed in by the ring. it is actually a LOT fatter then a thumb. about 1/3 of it is now joined, the last 2/3 still seperated. not much to comment on this one
post 2/2 not much to say about this one or this one, except this one was tricky to shoot too =P was actually trying to hide my face completely to resemble that creature in adams family. didnt work out too well, but still a fun picture. peeking out from beneath
So there are now officially 2 people in Norway with dreads haha I'm down in Fredrikstad....it's definitely not the most common hair-style round here
in trondheim we are quite a few.. me and 3 others just in my closest circle of friends, and i know of at least 10 more (some by name, some just as i pass them on the street often). and my twin brother in oslo. but he cheated and had extentions, so im trying to get him kicked out of the family =P nah, just kidding, i love my brother. but i wish he didnt go that route
ohmigoodness, your dreads are gorgeousss! they are so long and big,,I love them! I wonder if it's true about beer,my husband drinks beer I drink cider. His hair grows fasst lol think I'll have to change my drink of choice-I want long locks like yours!
Sick looking locks dude. Just read through the whole thread and saw you had troubles with wax early on. From someone who also used wax (for the first month) I wanna know if you've encounted any problems so far in? Any drying, smelling, dreads falling out problems to report?
