i feel the need for a new perspective. i want to try ibogaine but it's illegal in the US and ridiculously expensive everywhere it's legal. it's a freakin plant for goodness sake! i hate that every useful plant is being made illegal one by one! arg!
from what I've read, ibogaine has always appeared to me as one of the drugs that's best to leave for treatment and not for personal use. Cause it definately works for it's purpose. But There are plenty of other things that could change your perspective that are not hard to get ahold of
yea ibogaine should not be used as a recreational drug lol. however it is def one that should be very valuble and interesting to ur mind.
ibogaine is not a plant, it is a chemical found within a plant. i've occasionally seen canadian "ethnobotanical" suppliers that appeared to sell iboga rootbark even to the us, though. you might check out google. i'm sure, as a rare item, it will still be expensive. but you can get it.
also ibogaine, and also the iboga plant, have been outlawed for decades. they aren't victims of the war on drugs - they were outlawed before it existed. it was outlawed as late as 1970, but i've seen things suggesting it was earlier, around 67
it's a schedule 1 controlled substance, which it shouldn't be because it does have a medical use. but the US is lame that way, as we all know.
Marijuana is Schedule 1 as well. That should tell you how accurate the whole "medicinal use" criteria is for the DEA. Especially considering not only that multiple states have allowed medical marijuana, but that the FDA has approved Marinol, which is just encapsulated THC, for medical use. As for Ibogaine, good luck with that. There are some vendors that will ship Iboga to the US, and I think it's overlooked because who the fuck knows what Iboga is? If you live somewhere that Iboga is illegal to possess and you get caught, you're on your own.
