I was up all night bumping OC and when I did my final line of the night I had some serious anxiety. Like I od'd or something. My heart started beating fast, I had trouble swallowing, and I had to struggle to catch my breath. It only lasted maybe 15 minutes. Is this normal? What happened? I only did maybe 40mg over about six hours.
That's funny, man, but I'm serious. I have more I just thought I'd ask all the more experienced folks here.
Hmm. Oxycodone is derived from Thebaine, and Opiate Alkaloid, so..I could understand a bit of a more talkative feeling, but anxiety? That doesnt make a lot of sense. Sounds less like it is from the oxy, and more like it was just a little panic attack. 40mg is a very low dose.
That's what I thought too Poppie and you're probably right. It only happens when I snort a fair amount for me, so this wasn't the first time, but definitely the most intense anxiety. Anyway, thanks for your response.
i don't know what to say about the anxiety. but last week when i did 270mg of oxy, i had a really hard time swallowing too. don't know why..
Just simple anxiety. 40mg wouldn't kill anyone. Did you do any other drugs that day or the previous day before? Alcohol?
yea, a baby could handle that 40mgs of OC. but thats too bad that that happened. last night i was mad yacked out on about 1/2 a gram in like 2 hours of some fire, and tried taking my pulse, but needed like 50 tries because i was either forgetting where i started counting, if i was counting right? and not being sure about the beat. either way, it was weird. and not in the good, ketamine type wierd way.
lol i used to do that shit too. get way too fucked up and take my pulse (like id know what to do with it ne way) or feel my heartbeat and shit. Good times.

That is for sure! Plus I read something about opiates and benzos potentiating the likelihood of respiratory arrest. You all must be some veterans like a mother. 270mg of oxy a day? A baby could handle 40 mg? No wonder people OD on opiates all the time. Talk about moderation! 40 mg every 3-4 hours has me feeling good enough.
yeah but if you're taking opiates everyday or even every other day, you tolerance will go up pretty fast. i started on my meds in november with four endocet 5/325's a day. now i take 100-120mg of oxy a day for pain relief. and if i wanna catch a buzz, i have to take around 300mg. it fuckin sucks..damn tolerance man i hope they come up with some kind of medication that stops your tolerance from going up. even if they made one that just slows down your tolerance, that'd be sweet.
Only times this has happened to me is those times where I was convinced I did too much and was OD'ing.
yeah I have also gotten short of breath and had a rapid heartbeat after doing more than I normally do. It just seemed like an anxiety attack. 15 minutes sounds about right. All I need usually is some fresh air, maybe water or food then I'm golden. Freaky when it happens though.

I love that "taking your pulse" thing. Yeah, like I'm gonna know wth to do with the number, or I'm gonna know I'm havin' a heart attack. It's more likely on IV coke anyway.
Yeah, I have taken my pulse quite a few times...after thinking I had done too much. It's common with people who actually care about their life.
