A friend of mine has a friend visiting from Mexico who is hooking me up with a classical guitar and selling it to me for $20 or $40. I haven't actually seen it yet, but it's from Mexico, so it has to be somewhat decent right? We'll see...
well i cant guarantee any products from mexico but as long as it plays $20-$40 for a classical style guitar is a nice deal haha
I picked up a "cheap" guitar from the flea market, it's an acoustic, but can plug into an amp too for $125.00... I got it because it curves inward on the right side so I can play leads lower on the neck, where you can't on standard shaped guitars. But if you're just learning, the a super cheap one will be fine until you get something better, but don't wait too long or you'll get frustrated with it. A good one is easier to play and won't always go out of tune from bends and such.
Yeah, i'll have to let you all know what kind of condition it is in. But as long as it plays, it should be a good deal, i figure...
I got a 12 string acoustic at a yard sale a while ago for only 5 bucks, but the neck was warped making the action higher, and had two bent keys...so I made it into a 6 string and eventually gave it away.
View attachment 42094 Here's my guitars I jam with now... sorry for the small picture, I'm still learning how to post pics and links.
bc rish dnt see the big thing about them really? what do you like about bc rich? I have a IbanezRG230...i think will a floyd locking system
Ibanez is also a good guitar, but I was never crazy about the typical Fender style body design, and BC Rich has a few awesome designs I like. My favorite is the warlock, but I saw mine on ebay for a good deal so went with it... now they combined my guitar and the warlock called the Warbeast. It comes with all the hardware, neck lock, fine tuning, floyd string system, two double humbucker pickups, but the one thing I do like about Ibanez is they're lighter guitars. I wish mine was a paper thin and only a pound or two. No matter, each to their own, at least we're keeping metal alive... Do you play any leads, or are you mostly rhythm?
I really like the yngwie fender scalloped fret neck which i would like to play i believe i have play scalloped neck before though. Now fender body classic shape i like on ESP guitar which you can see it on the metallica "one" video you see kirk playing it and its a aqua greenish colored guitar which i also have seen but wasnt able to play it . Now i love wizard necks from ibanez alot its easy on my fingers but for some reason my rg neck feels nicer then a S series ibanez guitar neck. but S series has a KILLER tone!
I agree, I may not like the Stratocaster design, but some fenders and the one's you described do have a very easy action for playability. Too bad they don't come with a Warlock shaped body.
