I tried lsd for the first time last 4th of july and its safe to say it was the most intensely enjoyable night of my life. Four of my good friends were in town and had managed to come across some. They were gel tabs, orangish in color. 45 minutes after putting them under my tongue it was blast off. it started out as a feeling creeping up from my toes; it reminded me of my first time smoking weed. It soon spiked in intensity; geometric patterns abounded wherever i looked. I remember bringing my hand up to eye level and it seemed as if an unseen forces was blowing particles off my hand in helix patterns. A friend suggested that we watch something, so I went to check out the options. The first thing i noticed was the "Cosmos" series by Carl Sagan. I had no knowledge of the content beforehand but I assumed it had something to do with universe so it seemed like a fine choice. I have never laughed so much in my life. "Cosmos" was a series about the universe, chock full of cheesy graphics and utterly bizzare images. I will never forget flying through the 80s visualization of the universe and discovering that it ends with Carl Sagans giant head. After watching for a unknown amount of time (one thing i loved about lsd is that minutes pass in hours and hours pass in minutes) we ventured outside onto the back deck. I felt as if I were on another planet. The Sun shone down through the trees casting the world in myriad colors. The vegetation breathed and moved as if it were alive. The clouds formed double helixes in the sky in the most vivid colors I have ever seen. My mind was an open book, I felt i learned a new great truth with every leaf my eyes fell upon. The body buzz extremely enjoyable, it felt like warm hands were moving all over me. I hope I am fortunate enough to come across it again some day
