Who is familiar with this man's writing? I fell in love with it about a year ago, and I have read nearly everything that he has written. Gibran to me, is one of the greatest visionaries and mystics from the East and he is also very underrated. There have been times when I have shed tears while reading his work because is was so amazing and beautiful. You can pick up on his writing with any book and see the greatness of his writing!

I love "The Prophet." First read it when I was 13 and still have a copy 22 years later. I keep any book that is new and vital with each opening.

That's really great. That was the first book that I read by him. I own it as well now, and I also just bought a Treasury of Kahlil Gibran. There is a Second Treasury as well, and they contain nearly all of his writings.

You know what, I discovered him on Friday night at about 11pm. I read "The Prophet" and fell in love with his writing.

Awesome! be sure to check out his other works. In my opinion, he has works that are far better than The Prophet!

Yes, this man is (was) a master. Amazing writing. So profound, yet light too. The Prophet is a great book, I found an old copy of my mom's and still read in it from time to time.
