There is a thread on this page asking if you could kill a puppy for 500K. Now, I can understand the idea that some people couldn't do it even for that insanely awesome amount of money, but here is a new question; Could you kill a cute adorable little animal (Cat, dog, racoon, hamster, whatever) if it was really sick and obviously going to die anyways. No money involved. I ask because I had to beat a little baby raccoon with a big stick a couple of years ago. Our dog got to the poor thing first (And the dog was not being friendly, it was being a dog.), and when my girl and I got to the raccoon it was in bad shape. Broken arm, skinny and underfed, crusty nasty crap growing in its eyes. I don't know if it had some sort of disease that could be communicated to me or the dog, so I just ended it. But it was hard.
i couldn't beat it. i would if anything, call a vet to come put a needle in it to put it down. i feel sorry that you had to do that at least hes in a better place... mr rocky raccoon
i have been there and done it... IT IS NO GOD DAMN FUN AT ALL! i killed animals, when i was on holiday at my grandparents farm. i never, ever, liked doing it. i knew all too well, it was a life i was taking. if i had to do it now, i could, and, i would still, dislike doing too!
i never had a problem killing animals. guess that was just the family i grew up in. i always loved hunting. just to get out into the woods was enough but shooting something was a bonus. And i could def kill a puppy for 500K, hell id probably do it for 10K...
Yes I could. You're not taking a live, you're giving some mercy. This decision is a lot easier than the 500k question.
I agree with Asmodean. I believe in Euthanasia. The raccoon was in sad shape and I was helping it move on. What was really hard was the post mortal muscle contractions. I thought it was still alive. BTW, Asmodean, who is that picture in your sig? That is a fantastic ass!! Interresting comment considering the topic of this thread. =-)
