Anyone live in a high-crime area?

Where we are moving has a shit load of crime. There are no good neighborhoods there, every single one has bars on the windows on at least a couple of the houses.
We found a cool, old, brick house with all the features granite and hardwood we both want. Being brick I could sing brick house whenever I came home too, so that's a plus. And it's blocks from the art museum.
But, fresno has a lot of crime and that is the huge down side. There's a lot of MS-13 tagging. We are thinking a doberman and an alarm system.
So basically it's super exciting, but very scary.

Anyone live in a high-crime area? Any tips? Any Fresno Stories? ANyone is MS-13 ?

The gate-keeper in my middle school was MS-13. He was shot and killed like 6 years ago.

I heard them shooting every night. Dumb ass mothafuckas.

Anyhow, high crime means lock your car and shoot every black person you see on sight.

 

It's not the black people that commit the crimes in Fresno. It's the south american immigrants, meth addicted whites and mexican gangs. no offense.

 

I spent 3 weeks of January 1977 in Fresno, CA. Hated that place.

I cannot say shit. I live in Canada.
I live in uper middle class burbs. Three doors down there lives a police officer. And about a kilometer away if the local cop shop. On my street there has been three break ins that I know of, around 7 grow houses and 1 stabbing. And when I was in high school there was a kid that killed his parents and burned down his house while he was on acid.

Not really high crime.

I didn't know him, he was alot older than me but his house was down the street from me.

 

I saw some black guys gun down some other black guys with tec-9s once in Wittle Wock. Spike Lee would be proud.

well my city doesnt really seem dangerous just normal gang activity and some shootings. but apparently its the 4th most dangerous city in canada

right now I live in the hood. people get shot up on the regular. at least in my neighborhood people mostly keep to themselves, you'll just have crackheads coming up to you asking for money or talking some crazy shit. all the stores have bars or steel curtains.

we have a pitbull, a bulldog, and an 80 lb weimaraner that is no bitch, believe me. and guns.

rat poison) and chances are they have you outgunned – surrender now
