I've done the same thing to my cat and dog for meowing/barking but never like that lol. Just a couple punches for the dog(she always thinks im playing and it never phases her), and the cat i always smack the shit out of.

Lol! They abuse people not a cat, therefor they act sorry and apologize when in reality they probably think it was awesome. Completley different situation girlfriend.
Nobody says "Im sorry" and breaks down to a cat, if they do, they should probably be smacked around a few times as well for being insane.

How many of you kill insects? How is hurting a cat any different than hurting an insect? Both are living creatures with feelings and, quite probably, souls. I'm not saying it's right, but don't demonize someone for hurting an animal, when they obviously feel bad about it and are sorry that it ever happened.
