Led Zeppelin is cliche...but come on, they're awesome. They can rock out or play more folksy stuff. My favorite song of theirs is "Goin' to California." I like Joplin, Young, Hendrix, Marley, Jefferson Airplane, the Eagles, Floyd, the Band, Country Joe and the Fish, Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, Baez. Almost everybody who played at Woodstock. The Who is pretty good, too. (Those are just my favorite "classic" bands and performers.)
So... we all agree that the Velvet Underground is the best then? Seriously, I can't believe that I'm the only one who mentioned them. Meh.
To lay me down, once more to lay me down with my head in sparklin' clover to lay me down, one last time, to lay me down To be with you, once more, to be with you. With our bodies close together let the world go by, like the clouds a'streamin' to lay me down, one last time, to lay me down to lay me down, to lay me down, to lay me down, one last time, to lay me down to lie with you, once more, to lie with you with our dreams entwined together to wake beside you, my love still sleepin' to tell sweet lies, one last time and say good night to lay me down, to lay me down, to lay me down, one last time, to lay me down, one last time, to lay me down to lay me down, to lay me down, to lay me down, to lay me down to lay me down
I had a dream a had a giant... and we're taking enormous here, as in, bigger than my house... sized bed. It had red velvet covers and was so soft you just sank into it... How heavenly. Heehee, now I want my velvet bed dream to come back!
grateful dead, queen, bob dylan, bob marley+the wailers. the dead changed my life. i was once a boring, normal person. I hated drugs and people who used them were deadbeats and losers. now, i see no problem with using drugs (although i'm to afraid to do them myself) i love music, and i'm considerably less dull, i'd like to think. grand prize goes to *THE DEAD*
