Bong in Freezer

I just saw a thread where a guy had put his bong in the freezer and it was all chilled and a little frosted.

Do you guys ever do this?
Does it make it easier to break or do damage to it?
How would it work with a pipe?

 

If glass gets really cold, then you put a flame to it....it can shatter. I wouldn't recommend it.

 

I've done it once before, we didn't freeze the piece, just the bong. Not really different to just having ice in there. Don't freeze it if it has cracks or anything tho

 

To me it just wouldn't be worth the risk.

 

I used to do this all the time, freeze the water solid. Let it sit for a sec, and the stem is clear..

 

I'd say just put ice into it

i wouldn't put my bong in the freezer unless i had enough money put aside to replace it

Yeah I'm not that eager to try it although it could be safer if you dont freeze the bowl/stem.

I picture it similar to getting a frosty mug with root beer. It makes it so yummy. Not really the same thing though.

 

ive tried putting my bubbler in the freezer for a littlewhile to get the water a bit frosty but not freeze but it didnt seem to make much of a difference between doing that and just putting cold water in it.

 

Yeah I thought about that, but it would be easier/faster and less risky to just put some ice in the chamber.

i always put my bong in the fridge or the freezer. if it's thick enough, it won't hurt. i guarantee! just don't put the slide in there. i think the fridge works better, just put it in for a little longer.

i used to keep my bong in the trunk of my car, and in the winter i would smoke it without water, and it'd still be smooth as hell.

be careful with ice cubes! make sure you tilt the bong at like a 45 degree angle when putting them in, if you don't have ice catchers, my friend broke the female piece by droppping ice cubes in his bong

I wish I had a bong in Colorado so I could put snow in it. I only plan on getting one when I move out to Texas.

 

it was in it's box, and wrapped up in towels and bubblewrap
