How was everybodys job, or day off, or whatever go? I had to work today. I almost always have Mondays off, but I got a 4 day weekend this week and I'm trading working a Monday for it. I spent an hour joking around the break room threw some pallets on a truck, drove them to a place to get rid of them, had an hour lunch, then washed the trucks with my coworkers, joking around the whole time. My boss walked out and I told him I didn't have any towels, so I said I was going to drive them really fast. He laughed, tacitly giving me permission. Got one of the trucks to 106mph on I35. Sporty. :biggrin: 3 days left.
i washed about 100 dog bowls 100 cat bowls and 20 other bowls. then i swept a hallway. i did about 6 loads of laundry too. i walked two dogs also. not really a job.. not really a choice either.
It was too short. Ugh, I'm gonna have to tell her I need some more hours. I think on Wednesday, I shall graciously let the drive-thru girl switch with me and go home early, lol.
Work was fine. This should be a good week. I work at a school and the students are on Spring Break this week, so I only have half a days this entire week - and then a few days off next week for The Dead show.
work was alright...lots of drama between my roomie and my bosses...i had to hear all about it...i love when i get dragged into other people's shitttt!
really couldn't have gone much better. business was heavy when i needed to pass the time, then completely died in time for me to do inventory and cleaning and whatnot and still get out of there just after close.

Grrr...Tuesday is the only day I work a full day at my real job. I always dread going, but love it once I get there.
Going to lunch in 10 minutes - only half the day done. Things are great for me. I'm doing mostly translation - good job - pays nicely. People courteous - and - FREE COFFEE!!!
work was ok today. it usually isn't so bad these days. first day in today and finishing at 10am on thursday. cant argue with that.
It was ok. Got groceries, made food, stayed in bed most of the day recovering from my sisters wedding saturday. Had some beers, a few bowls..
Work was kinda shitty this afternoon. I had a slow morning and fucked the dog when I should've been writing a report...Earlier I did the report in the "new format" which I wasn't too keen on trying but was pushed into it. The good side of it was it only took me about 20 minutes I was like "yeaaaaaaah! I'm done!!" and rather enjoyed the new way of doing it. I slacked off a bit, made toast, read a magazine (it was current and pertinant) Then I chatted with one of the social workers about sex and money for half an hour. After lunch I was super busy and then found out that someone did the new format for the reports wrong and I had to re-do mine the OLD way which takes much longer... but I had no time for paperwork because I was busy now. (I stayed after work to finish it). In the meantime one of the girl's baby was crying and crying so I went to go help her settle him and figure out how her new stroller worked... god they are complicated now - in the middle of when i could've been writing that report when my co-worker was doing absolutely nothing!!!!!!!!!!! I dont even work with that mom I was helping! It was her mom that lazy bitch. I liked the mom and baby though.
One of the kiddos I work with looked in the library return bin and said 'wow, a lot of people bring the books back. They must get treats and prizes for it'. It was awesome.
