There are ways I believe to help speed up growth I don't know specific items. My tip would be, eat healthily, get plenty of sleep, don't get stressed by anything, and wait a few years. Probably not what you really wanted to hear though.

If you're up for going natural then you can start now. Just stop brushing your hair and use a residue free shampoo, swim in the sea/use salt sprays, wear a tam, and forget what you're trying to do...

shes joking theres nothing really except ..stop combing bnow then u wont need trims to remove split ends
good nutrituins always helpfull but wont make a huge difference..
the only thing that will make much difference is stop combing so u dont gotta trim any.. that way they will also begin to dread as they get long enough to dread..
your looking at a couple to sa few months..mine started about that long..maybe 3 inches
stopped combing and was dreaded in no time
yours may take a couole months longer

If you meant my comment. I was just talking generally about letting one's hair grow, not the time it takes for hair to dread seeing as that's an ongoing thing anyway.

If you bleach your hair, your perceived growth rate will rocket! Dark roots after bleaching grow much faster than regular roots! :p

I am and am not joking lol... I mean, it's perception that counts, right? ;)

I don't have any advice for your hair at the length it is now except for hair growth pills. You can also have regular trims when your hair gets longer. I can't really find the words to explain how it helps right now but it does. Tying your hair up tight helps as well because it encourages the hair follicle to produce hair quicker to make the tightness more comfortable.
