The Shah Palace in Tehran, Iran

    On the way to the Shah Palace. Notice the ancient trees. When the trees are in full bloom, the foliage is so thick you cannot see the sky when driving through this boulevard.

    Endless trees line the road leading to the palace of the last Shah.

    On both sides of the road is an open canal where water from mountains flow. The water is clean and cool.

    Replica of Rolls Royce 1919 model takes guests around the palace.

    The statue is Arash the Archer, a mythical Persian hero.

    Wow, i love that Rolls Royce. The place looks amazing, i wish i had money for traveling.

    the trees :)

    I guess they are a type of willow.. do the leaves turn yellow in fall?

    I'm not really sure because I was only there for short periods of time (days). I would ask my Persian friends though. Thanks for dropping by this thread. :)
