-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was going to get dreads a few months ago, but after I fried my hair, my dad threatened to kick my ass if I got them. Wonderful timing. It felt terrible, and I cut it, but now I'm regretting it. I could've convinced my dad to let me get them... My hair is down below my eyes when I pull it down, and touches the bottom of my neck in the back now. I'd let it grow 4-6 more inches before I locked it if I do. I can't figure out how to upload a picture directly to HF, and I'm on dial up so going to ANY webpage is a job, so I'm not even going to attempt downloading a picture from FaceBook, and putting it on Photobucket. That'd take an hour, my dial up is 1/2 as fast as normal 64KBPS. Please search "Zac Osborn" on FaceBook for my picture. I hate asking people to go to this trouble, but I'd really appreciate it.
Mate haven't searched for your picture But dreads suit everyone. I haven't seen a dreadie who's dread don't suit them.
Am I thick? What did you do to your hair? "fried my hair" uh what does that mean??? In answer to your question I don't think you need to worry about whether you'll look good or not, most people do, but then maybe I'm just biased towards dreadlocks.
lol@Merrivale, he probably bleached his hair over and over...,,or straightening messes it up too. I agree though everyone looks good w dreads.. maybe not in the first while but when they mature they suit everyone
sometimes tinypic.com is good for dial up.. thats what i used to use when i had it. f photobucket, i hate it =]
It is my belief that since it is the first hair style, and the one we evolved with it suits anyone and everyone, think about it how many years have society told us we should have straight perfect hair, im no expert on history but 50-60 million years ago we were around (im guessing) and a few thousand ago we had straight hair, it should be a style that suits us
"You can't make footprints in the sands of time by sitting on your ass" but you can sure leave a big ass print. sorry i just had to say that
never thought of it that way before, it was something my bro said to me years ago and is now a philosphy i live by
