(noticed a "would you kill a puppy for 500,000$" thread.) So we used to own 128 acres, had a pond and a bunch of 'woodsy' area for mainly hunting. Well my neighbor who was the same age (15 yrs old) would always come onto my property with her dogs which got the dogs used to coming onto our property, at first this was no problem and we never said anything about it. Then I started noticing trash and shit along with dog toys strung through-out my woods, I mean it was everywhere. This bitch would throw her pop cans, chip bags etc etc all over the place. We were riding the bus home and I told her not to let it happen again and it'd all be fine...1 month later it was still happening, I gave her another warning then mentioned this to my father, it annoyed the fuck out of him as well. I'm against litering like that, it is just disrespectful in so many ways. Well warnings did nothing. One day my Brother n law and I were along a feild above my pond shooting guns, as we did every sunday evening. When I say guns, I mean SKS/AK47, 12 Gauge, 9mm, .45 etc etc. Sounded like wargrounds every weekened. Well as we were shooting I noticed her dog come running across my feild of view and jump into my pond swimming around, well I told Dave to pass me my scoped .22 LR he did but then asked why... He then looked where I aimed and nearly shit his pants, I shot directly beside the dog, it started to swim to land, as it jumped out I laughed out and thought "fight fire with fire, BITCH," then pulled the trigger and shot the Golden Retriever in the ass, woddled off. Obviously it was taken to the vet and suprisingly it survived. The neighbor bitched at me, threats were made and we went our seperate ways. After that, I walked the outline of my property damn near every day carrying a 9mm loaded with 8 HydraShock rounds, only seen them one time after that and it lead to a pistol being pulled and walking them off grounds. Not once did I hear shit from them nor deal with them ever again. Fighting fire with fire DOES WORK. Seems like the only things I post here are horrible but ah well. Don't say shit about saying I could've been sued or some shit like that because I have had their dogs attack me before, so in my view I was defending myself from any future attacks. lol, that is kind of mean though huh?
You're very true, I never ment to wound the dog, that's fucking horrible but shit happens. I've done some pretty fuckered up shit in my past. :O
^^^ You are a loser that only feels powerful with guns. Sure, what the girl was doing to your property was wrong. However, you punished an innocent creature. You escalated the situation way out of proportion, and you still have little guilt or understanding or why what you did was stupid hillbilly shit.
Again, very true. I mean sure, there is guilt for hurting the innocent BUT the dogs brought some of the shit on the property as well. She made them think it was alright, I made it think otherwise. Hillbilly shit would've been more along the lines of strapping a stick of dynamite to the dog and letting it run home.
The dog doesn't know who the property belongs to. The dog doesn't know what littering is. The dog was just his happy go lucky self going for a swim and you shot it. It doesn't matter that you didn't mean to hit it. How do you know another dog, or even person, wasn't in the woods or whatever was in the distance? You are a real piece of shit, but at least you recognize that. Just don't go shooting anymore dogs.
If someone caught my bullet, I wouldn't be at much fault considering I was target shooting on my own property while using safety. Although, the dog is fine now, I feel bad though, at first I just looked at it as "well, fucker deserved it." But I suppose the dog was just living free and happy... :\
You would be at fault. You weren't "target shooting" unless you were counting the dog as the target. If you killed somebody you could very easily have been charged with manslaughter. Glad you at least have some remorse over shooting the dog, though.
Yeah, you might as well have shot the girl. With better results, probably. I just hate it when animals are torchered.
