The universe doesnt want me to do laundry

Well it belongs to the apartment... there's a communal washer and dryer set in the basement. it's coin op so i ended up paying like $4-5 to get one damn load through.

 

So I checked the lint trap. There was no lint in it, but after I put it back in it started working, so thank you Hilder

Dryer?

You freaks, we don't have a dryer. We have drying racks for all our wet clothes. And we live in the UK!

 

I didnt have a dryer back in DR either, I also never did my own laundry , but if they're giving me a dryer with the place we're renting, Im not gonna complain about it.

We also didnt have a dishwasher back home, now I couldnt think of life without it, but I also never did the dishes back home.

 

I do the laundry here but all it is, is sorting the clothes and putting them into the washing machine. Then y'know, putting 'em onto the drying racks and sorting them into piles. I don't do it very well. xD

 

I only have three loads to do....two small and one large. I don't feel like doing laundry today though. :tongue:

 

I want a robot maid, like in the Jetsons. What was her name in English? In the Spanish version she was Robotina.

You know, now I check the lint trap first thing if either dryer gives me hell. this one time the dryer at work wouldnt work, and we had a guy from the appliance shop come out and look at it. I felt so stupid because all it needed was the lint trap cleaned. lol
Apparently there's some mechanism in the dryer that wont let it start if the airway isnt clear. dont want to start a fire and whatnot.

So who did your laundry and dishes?

 

I have to question the domestic skills of anybody that cannot handwash and dry their laundry. I wouldn't necessarily say you suck at life but probably something along the line.

 

Word. I've been doing my own laundry since I was in the 7th grade and washing dishes isn't that hard.

 

That sux I hope it is an easy fix.
..but, can I blame the universe for not feeling like doing the dishes today, sounds like a great excuse
