Hi all! I'm General Dissent from the Party Hard Corps ( www.partyhardcorps.com ) I live in St. Louis which has taken "most dangerous city int the nation status" for a few years running now so you can see why someone living here would need to find some ways of escaping. My way is revelry which is why I started the P.H.C., a network of like-minded militant revelers. If anyone else happens to live in this same midwestern area I suggest you move but failing that maybe you should check out the Corps. I'm involved in a fair amount of social activism from anti-war to anti-prohibition to anti-oppression actions. I've run what I think is one of the more informative and deeply contemplative forums on police misconduct and misuse on the web for four years now and have spoken at a few public events on police misconduct. My girlfriend and I were both severely beaten by Columbus, Ohio police and charged with assaulting a police officer (all charges dropped by the court of course) and so this experience has spurred on a lot of this interest. I'm not sure I entirely fit exactly into the culture of "hippie" but I will do my best to fit in. I certainly do respect a lot of the ideas behind the culture. I actually found these forums last night in a search to find somewhere that I could bitch about how the RAVE act has basically ensured that any pill form "ecstasy" one buys is garbage cut with any number of actually dangerous poisons, meth most prominent among them. But once I started looking around here I realized that this place has a lot more to offer than just that. I'm loving it here. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to say "hi!" Dissent
