Twitter - the new trend in social networking and...

I just made one, just to see what this is all about, so far it seems like it would be lame, since I really don't know anyone who has it.

You can look up musicians, actors, authors, friends, politicians, directors, random interesting folks, etc. You don't have to necessarily know anybody.

 

The trouble is though, people tend to overcome that by multi blogging.

Hey I'm doing this!

I'm not doing this anymore, I'm doing that!

Now I"m not doing anything!

That kind of thing.

 

I'm willing to guess that those are some of the less interesting people on the site though, so I wont have to worry about that.

What I like the most is that if people I know find me, I don't have to read all their bullshit just because they wanted to add me.

 

Yea, I noticed that, the problem is the print is uber small on this computer, and I dont' know how to change it... it's been like that for a while... it's fine on the forums, but everthing else I have to copy then paste on note pad to make out what it says.

I only follow famous fowk, Stephen Fry was the first one I hooked up to. I must say I admire his enthusiams about it, but he ain't half a right boring old twat. He's got a brain the size of a planet, but the man is just boring as tits. I also followed Justin Timberlake recently, he is also pretty fucking boring. THey are all boring, but it's nice to get a response from your music heroes occasionally. I shared a bit of banter about smoking weed with one of my favourite musicans recently, which was nice.

 

If your mouse has a scroll wheel, then hold ctrl + scroll the wheel up.... That should do the trick.

twitter had the N.Korea launch last night a full 10 minutes before any of the MSM had it

 

I like twitter because I can read stuff written by people who have the same ideas as I do we share links. I am "following" Yoko Ono and some others too. Yoko makes a lot effort for peace and I like reading her stuff.

For me it is interesting and a way to reach out.

 

no one i know is on twitter...i just did a search for some of my friends and nothing...not sure how much i like it...
