Tropical winter Grow

you've been doing your home work coz all sounds go to me. looking like a few buds are getting a bit extended on top so a week or so sounds rite.
Me and my pigeon english what i said was if you can get the buds to the stage of being ready to be cured (stems snap when bent) in just 3 days then why not just carry on and leave it longer with the fan on. I hang my bud in the dark takes about two weeks before its ready to be cured from there i smoke it or leave for another two weeks to totally dry out.

 

they look like they are pretty much done to me.....but just listen/watch your trichs......they can't lie! Have fun with your gumby hash run..........i've tried a few times and it's only come out good once..........the other couple times that it didn't work i was just left with a mess and wasted sugar leaves. I've got my QWISO method down for now and it comes out pretty fuckin superb.

Hi All,
Yesterday I took my garden apart, it took the whole day and I still have lots of shit to do. I think I did good, it's a little over 900 grams wet. It's funny the way it grows, the plants by the A/C gave me NOTHING in terms of weight. I have very little smell, in fact it hardly smells at all. Ok here are a few Pics.

I started with 11 plants (clones) of the 11 plants 8 were in proper pots the 3 extras were in 5 quart planters which became root bound and stopped growing. Two of the 8 that were next to the A/C gave me nothing. It's not so much how many plants it's more about using the space you have and the lights you're using. Basically that's the output of 6 clones. I'm making Gumby Hash so I'll be posting a few more times.

You sure a/c is circulating properly coz thats cost you, so how does that a/c work??? if that happen to me i'd resite away from plants more if you can lol. That lack of smell is worrying too.

I blew it with the A/C, I should have bought one that doesn't come into the box as far as the one I have. The air goes in the front and out the top. I should replace it with one that I can make flush with the inner wall or build out the box so it won't get in the way. If you look at the pictures 2 plants have to grow around the fucker.
Without using the A/C and the water cooler I think it would be impossible to grow because of the heat and humidty here. This grow is a winter grow so it's 80F and a low of 50F but not often. In a closed garage it's more. The A/C first removes the humidty and then cools the air. It works fine, especially in 3 sq feet.

 

Morning cd. I know you need a/c and i would'nt kick it out just yet.
surely it would be more affective if you could get it higher up or the air outlet higher up some how (fit a tube on it) in your set up coz cold air sinks. Hmm just a thought maybe them two plants that did.nt yield were getting cold feet coz if the plants out grows or grows around it then the cool air could pool up around that location.
I ment how the a/c does its job maybe its putting something else into the air, anyway well worth looking into.
Been meanin to ask for some time now you've bloomed both now but have you notice any difference between seed plants and clones?

You're absolutly right about mounting it up higher, I'd love to try that but it's only me and I can't get it up there. If I could just build out the portion of the box where the A/C is that might work also. I'd like to try a few things with the placment of the A/C. The A/C puts nothing into the air if it's working right, if it had a freon leak it would stop cooling or ice up. All it does is remove humidty and lower the temp. The water that comes out is good and clean. As far as seeds or clones go it's about the same thing, naturally with clones you know what to expect, kinda. I've been drying in bags and paper towels, notice the weight now it lost a whole lot I'm seeing 607 with the paper towels.

definately something not quite rite there so agree you've gotta do something with a/c coz 2 plants could be a possible third in weight again.
Now using a mirror behind pic wont double ya yield Hehe. I'm not keen on speed drying really can affect the strength and taste.
Maybe its coz I'm a soil grower but clones definately yield more for me compared to seedling so much so that I'l probably wont bloom seedling again and just sex and chop up for cutting.

 

Hi All,
I took the trimmings except for the fan leaves and lumber and mixed up a batch. I wound up with 2 small balls total weight 4 grams, not worth the effort but it's dam good hash. I got my hands on a bunch of Dry Ice so I took my harvest and put it in with the dry ice in a storage bin. I heard about this method about 100 years ago. Notice the white on the bottom of the Blue rubbermaid. I must admit that I've had better luck with clones than seeds. When all is said and done I'm going to have a nice thing here. I have a bunch of clones that I took 4 weeks ago, they have rooted and I should have already transplanted but I'm getting a very hard time from the old lady, she only likes to smoke it. The way she sees it, I'll wind up getting it anyway so it will be around for her.

Hey mang! Great pull!!! Should finish out abit over 1/2 lb. dry.......not bad at all!! I hear ya about the gumby hash being more work than it's worth..........it's great hash but really bubble bags would be simpler.......and even simpler would be a nice silk screen still with excellent results......if ya want i can point ya in the direction of VERY NICE kif boxes for very reasonable prices..........it's a forum but it is a damn good forum to be a part of......more geared towards the growin aspect of MJ.... so if ya want........shoot me a PM and i'll give ya the site.

Anywho, great run mang.........can't wait to see what's next!

Thanks 42o but I think my growing days have come to an end. My old lady is making a lot of noise and the best thing for me to do is clean up my act. I don't feel safe right now so everything has been taken apart and tomorrow it's out of the house. Thanks all it's been fun.

What is it with u and ur old lady?. Gawd i had a love hate thing once best time of my life wink. Shame quite an expensive setup you've get there and ya've just about broken even. Lol fck her plenty of legal things you could grow.

 

My old lady is plain nuts. She is a very sick, mean, vindictive, alcoholic. She is a control freak, yesterday she stated packing her shit because I said I won't stop smoking until I'm good and ready but unfortunately it's not that simple. She objects the fact that I post shit here, she's is very smart but something went wrong during her formative years.
Anyway it's down from 900 to 440 and it's still way to wet.

Wont pry but Its a shame mate only ever met 3 types of alcohics happy ones sad ones and dead ones. Dont think I'l ever give up just to much temptation and nothing to give up for.
Starting to look better thought hows the smell? Smoked any yet? Nothing sweeter then your own harvest especialy whats could be your last. I never put mine on the scales coz its alarming how much it losses.

To answer your question, it's real nice bud. I've been moving it from paper bag to paper bag as they get wet and I had left a nice chunk in one of the bags it was dry enough to smoke. If I could smoke this shit for the rest of my days I would be a verry happy pot head. I'll be around, I read the posts, I just keep my mouth shut because I consider my self a beginner.
