So, I've been brainstorming for a while...trying to come up with something nice to do for my girlfriend. We're closing in on four years, and I have a solid collection of ticket stubs, pictures and little trinkets from places we've been. I was thinking of making a scrapbook with each page dedicated to something that we've done, with maybe a line per page from a poem that I'll write...leaving a bunch of pages empty for us to fill in the future. Any ideas of how I should go about doing this? Where could I get a good scrapbook? How should I organize it? Any and all recommendations/criticism is appreciated. I want to make this perfect, and I want it to be done by mid to late May. And if you have any other ideas let me know. Thanks, everyone.
I think that's a really lovely idea The best Scrapbooks I've seen in the past have been done on black paper, because it really makes the pictures/tickets etc stand out, and then do your writing in like a gold/silver gel pen. Just try going down to your stationary shop, in the UK there is a shop called Paperchase that would be good for that kind of stuff, but I don't know about in the US or anywhere else. Try the internet if all else fails! Get like a ringbound book or something, just have a look around and see what's about! Good luck!
Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it. Hadn't thought of black pages with silver/gold ink, but that's brilliant!
